My Family Tree

Now let me tell you about my family tree...
how it started out with just my parents and me.
Then I added my two older brothers;
both of my grandfathers and grandmothers.
An aunt here and uncle there;
it seems I have cousins everywhere.
Soon I turned to the internet;
to gedcoms of relatives I've never met.
From ancestral files at Family Search;
and baptismal records from the local church.
Ancestry.com and genforum queries;
then finally it's a trip to the cemeteries.
And there I find another Albro or two;
some that belong to who knows who!
So I add them to my growing collection;
hoping someday to make a connection.
Now there are thousands in my family tree;
that started out with just my parents and me!
