A CALL FOR STORIES!
This is an invitation (plea) for you to send us a story about some experience you've had while researching your family tree. It doesn't have to be the classical success story, and it doesn't have to be an inspiration to newby genealogists. In fact, we're getting a little bored with good-guys-always-win stories in every genealogical magazine, newsletter, web site, and genealogy catalog in the country. Just something you thought was unusual or interesting or funny or touching. Maybe you want to give a tribute to somebody who went out of their way to help you. Maybe you want to get some frustration off your chest after a massive effort that went in circles. But help us show new researchers what they might run into themselves! How long? Whatever it takes. You're not an English major? So who is? Write it like you'd tell it. When you have it written, send it by email to either:
Phil Albro, or Gloria Silverman. We'll take it from there.
